I am a 24 year old nerd who enjoys snakes, drawing pin-ups, a well-aged Cabernet, bunnies, and seafood.

I currently reside with my super-awesome fiance in the lovely state of Washington. We share our home with 5 parrots, 2 pygmy goats, 2 chinchillas, 3 bunnies, and about 60 snakes or so.

Music-wise, I adore Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Metallica, AC/DC, and Monster Magnet, especially. But I also get down to the Beatles, Mika, Abba... All sorts of stuff, really.

My favorite movies include Reefer Madness the Musical, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hellraiser 1 and 2, Nightmare on Elm Street, anything with Batman, the Big Lebowski, Across the Universe, Dark City, Fido, 28 Days Later, Hot Rod, Superbad, Super Troopers, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Zoolander, Anchorman, Sunshine... I particularly like comedies, GOOD horror movies, and indie films.

I'm a television-nut. We got a Tivo and it totally changed our lives, lol! I'm addicted to Lost, especially, best show ever! I also love the Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, Venture Brothers, Family Guy, Metalocalypse, Law and Order Criminal Intent, and Arrested Development.

I have my bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature, so I do tend to read a lot of books. BUT my years at the University totally ruined me for good literature, and as a result my taste tends to run more towards the cheesey vampire romance novel fare. I adore Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, Patricia Briggs (when she's not writing Dungeons and Dragons fantasy type stuff, not my bag), Lilith St. Crow... I keep hoping that Laurel K. Hamilton will get it in gear and write something with some damn substance like she used to, but I still read every new book she puts out. Albeit with a snarky, disappointed look on my face, lol.
